With all the right pop sensibilities for success, the fivesome release their third single off the EP, Daisy Eyes which lures the listener into a blissed-out wonderland of swirling hooks, impossibly catchy drum lines and psychedelic harmonies. Daisy Eyes is a contagious coupling between the sunny dream-pop influences of the 50’s and 60’s with a shimmering contemporary perspective. The Phoncurves announce ‘Heartstrings’ EP + Tour

PhoncurvesFollowing on from the success of their debut single ‘Heartstrings’ and new single ‘Lover’, Brisbane two-piece The Phoncurves are proud to announce the reveal of their new Heartstrings EP, due for release on May 2. The harmonising duo will celebrate with a national headline tour of Australia through May and June.

Toxic Holocaust & Skeletonwitch: April Tour Postponed Due To Illness

Due to a serious medical condition affecting Joel Grind’s hearing Toxic Holocaust, Skeletonwitch and Heathen Skulls have decided that the upcoming Australian tour scheduled for April 2014 will unfortunately need to be postponed.

Joel has been suffering with severe ear infections, as the condition has shown no improvement the medical specialists have advised Joel against travelling as he will likely need to undergo surgery to avoid any permanent damage to his hearing.
We are all saddened by the news but Joel’s well-being must be given priority.
We are currently working together to arrange new tour dates, at this stage the rescheduled Australian tour will be planned for Nov/Dec 2014. Full dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

“We sit around on couches, buying what we think makes us who we are, like a hungry ghost”, it was these words from Kalle Lasn’s book Culture Jam that resonated with Violent Soho’s Luke Boerdam and acted as a major influence on him while penning the Mansfield (4122) band’s highly acclaimed third record, Hungry Ghost, which has subsequently lead to ‘Soho’ (as their loyal fans refer to them as) enjoying a whirlwind of success over the last nine months.

Violent Soho will be heading out on their biggest national tour to date this July and taking Melbourne’s The Smith Street Band with them as special guest supports – a tour that promises to wow crowds all over the country and have kids jumping from everything in sight.

ELLIE GOULDING announces BROODS as support on Australia & New Zealand 2014 tour

Gould_07_077B_4colFrontier Touring has announced that brother-sister duo Broods will be joining Ellie Goulding on her forthcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand!

This tops off what has been a huge year for Georgia and Caleb Nott from Nelson, New Zealand with the release of their hugely successful debut single ‘Bridges’ (watch the clip for ‘Bridges’ here) and their first self-titled EP (download Broods EP here).

Since its release in October last year, the single has racked up almost half a million plays on Soundcloud, in addition to the duo nearing 12,000 likes on Facebook!

The DeclineRabble-rousing, good times WA skate-punks The Decline are stoked to announce they’ll be unleashing a fresh 5-track EP and kicking off a national tour real soon. Pee Records are proud to present the fully crowd-funded, fully sick ‘Can I Borrow A Feeling?’ EP.

More than 8 years in and two albums deep, The Decline are a respected and recognisable name amongst the international punk community. 2013 was a stand-out year for the local stalwarts; they supported long time heroes Descendents, undertook a month-long European outing, a Japanese tour with 90’s So-Cal super-band Implants (members of Strung Out, Pulley) and an epic Australian tour with Isreali punkers Useless ID. These efforts earned them a WAMi nomination in the punk/hardcore category and ensured they came out of the gates strong in 2014, nabbing a coveted afternoon slot at the Perth Soundwave festival. It’s clear that the force rages strong with these guys.
