Since releasing his track “What About Me?” last week, Sydney’s Brave quickly received attention from key tastemakers around the country – with a truly unique voice that has elements of Prince with speckles of James Blake and The Weeknd, the track has powerful piano chords and raw-but-catchy vocals.

Now Brave releases the video to accompany the songwriters honest and captivating reflection – showcasing the song’s reaw melody and storytelling at its best.

Brave is a true pioneer of democratised production. Having built a home studio that claims 80% of his bedroom he has written, recorded, performed and produced his own material since the age of 15.

Combining beat making knowledge with natural songwriting skills and an ocean of relentless groove, Brave’s songs dance the line of pain, love and optimism. His influences of D’Angelo, J Dilla, and Stevie Wonder ring true through his entwining of beats with class poetry, executed with a maturity that only one that has ‘seen some shit’ can pull off.
