Powerhouse singer-songwriter Beth Hart’s debut appearance on our shores has been welcomed with overwhelming demand and a second Sydney show has been added at The Basement on Sunday 13th of April. Tickets will be available from 9am Thursday 6th March 2014.

Then there’s the hits ‘LA Song (Out Of This Town)’ (#1 in New Zealand), ‘Sister Heroine’, ‘Am I The One’, ‘Good As It Gets’ and ‘Bang Bang Boom Boom’ from her new album of the same name set for release March 14. Bang Bang Boom Boom has been earning her critical acclaim around the world, showcasing her amazing range across Blues, R&B, Swing and more.

Not to mention the A-list collaborations with the likes of Jeff Beck and Slash, she has also recorded two albums with Joe Bonamassa – 2011’s Don’t Explain and this year’s Seesaw which has seen them nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Blues Album. She is also a featured vocalist on Buddy Guy’s latest album.

One thing for sure is Beth Hart will blow your mind, Bluesfest Festival Director Peter Noble strongly agrees; “Beth is a superstar – I recently saw her open for Stephen Stills new Supergroup, The Rides and she got standing ovation after standing ovation. That just doesn’t happen for opening acts BUT – mark my words – this lady is as good as it gets – miss her at your peril.”
