The Fray and Kings Of Leon hold on ARIA Charts this week …
The Fray’s single “You Found Me” has topped both the ARIA Singles and Digital Track Charts for a second week, as Kings Of Leon’s album “Only By The Night” chalks up its ninth week at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart. André Rieu’s “Live In Australia” release has also held at one again on the ARIA Music DVD chart, spending 8 weeks on the top of the chart with a certification of 21 times Platinum!

The top 3 on this week’s ARIA Singles Chart holds firm – The Fray at one, The Ian Carey Project at 2 with “Get Shaky” and Kevin Rudolf featuring Lil Wayne at 3 with “Let It Rock”. Jessica Mauboy’s “Burn” bounces back up a spot to 4 and Lady GaGa’s “Poker Face” is at 5. Four singles have debuted in the top 40 this week, including new Aussie singer Cassie Davis at 19 with “Like It Loud” and U2’s “Get On Your Boots” at 26, their first chart single in 2 years following “Window In The Skies” which reached #17 in January 2007. Ladyhawke debuts at 37 with “My Delirium”, as does Empire of The Sun at 40 with “We Are The People”, the duo’s second top 40 charting single. Kelly Clarkson is the big mover this week, up from 16 to 6 with “My Life Would Suck Without You”. Taylor Swift blasts from 14 to 8 with “Love Story” and Empire of The Sun’s “Walking On A Dream” is up from 19 to 14. Lily Allen is up 10 spots to 18 with “The Fear” and Lady GaGa moves from 34 to 25 with “Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)”.

This week’s ARIA Album Chart sees Kings Of Leon at 1 and P!nk’s “Funhouse” at 2, as Bruce Springsteen delivers this week’s highest debut, coming in at 3 with his new album “Working On A Dream”. Springsteen’s last album to hit the ARIA Charts was “The Magic”, which peaked at #2 back in 2007. Finalising the top 5 this week is the Twilight Soundtrack at 4 and Lady GaGa’s “The Fame” at 5. In addition to Bruce Springsteen, top 40 debuts include Franz Ferdinand at 6 with “Tonight: Franz Ferdinand”, their second top 40 album following 2005’s “You Could Have It So Much Better”, Leonard Cohen at 21 with “The Essential 3.0” and Bon Iver at 32 with “For Emma, Forever Ago”. Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson re-enter the top 40 at 22 with “Rattlin’ Bones” as does Ladyhawke with her self-titled album at 39. Blasting their way into the top 10 this week are Taylor Swift with “Fearless” up from 21 to 8 and Empire Of The Sun with “Walking On A Dream” up from 19 to 9.

With The Fray holding at one on the ARIA Digital Track Chart, The Ian Carey Project moves up at spot to 2 with “Get Shaky”. Also moving up is “Let It Rock” from Kevin Rudolf featuring Lil Wayne, at 3 this week, followed by Jessica Mauboy at 4 with “Burn”. Kelly Clarkson’s “My Life Would Suck Without You” ensures the American singer another hit single, up from 16 to 5 this week.
