What started off as a solo adventure for Sydney singer songwriter Ernest Ellis has, over the past three years, evolved into a rounded solid collective… introducing Ernest Ellis & The Panamas.

Over the past few months Ernest Ellis & The Panamas have been busy recording their second LP, due for release September 2011.

The first single from the album is Great Sky, recorded at Studios 301 in Sydney and produced by Tim Carr & Ernest Ellis, and according to the band it’s the song they’ve always wanted to record. It’s huge, blissful, heartbreaking and at the same time optimistic. A beautiful tune that signifies the development of the band and points us towards the exciting road the new record will go down.
